Chris Goes To His Senior Prom

It is simply amazing at how fast time is flying! Chris is about finished with high school! He has come such a long ways. He went to his senior prom with Sabrina Friday night and it appears that he had a lot of fun! I say appears because Chris does not share a lot with his parents anymore. I guess we are just not in touch enough to understand. He looked very good in his tuxedo! I am so suprised at how big he is. He is stronger that I would have imagined! He will make a great Marine!
I was shocked when I came home from work on Friday to find Chris waiting for me with a cigar. He asked me if he could smoke it to celebrate nearing the end of school. I was shocked. If you know Chris you would understand why. He is very much opposed to any type of smoking. You should hear him complain to me when I smoke a cigar once in a while! I do not blame him for wanting to do a bit of celebrating though! He smoked the cigar outside and inside the house. When Mirta came home from work she said the house stunk and could not breathe. It wasn't that bad! :-)
Chris is pretty much done with school. Next week will consist of grad practice and short days in class. I just cannot believe we have come so far so fast! We are very proud of him and his future plans.
